These are a 201-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder option, and a 261-horsepower variant. The A4's powertrains include all-wheel drive and an auto seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission. In comparison, the 2023 A5 has the same three trim levels, and it is offered in cabriolet, coupe, and hatchback body styles. The A5 convertible and coupe options have the A4's 261-horsepower ending. The hatchback is outfitted with the same 201-horsepower engine. These engines are paired with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed auto, dual-clutch transmission.

Appearance

The differences between the 2023 Audi A4 and the A5 continue in their styling. The A4 sedan displays its elegance with an aerodynamic profile and slanted accentuation across the door panels. The nose is personalized with a metallic element bisecting the large air portals and matrix-type LED headlights that point toward the large, dramatic grille. On the other hand, the 2023 A5's design has a lean, aggressive look with stronger curves across the profile and a pair of accent lines through the sides.
